The DME is the first database-driven application specifically designed for biological light microscopy and high content assays (HCAs). Based on the well-established OME Data Model (read the paper or go straight to the docs), the Glencoe DME provides critical image data and metadata storage and management functions that includes searching and mining facilities.
Glencoe DME has been designed to store and manage data derived from any number of different traditional light microscopes or high content imaging systems. The DME imports data from proprietary formats to a vendor-neutral database and then enables data visualization, management, and analysis on single or multiple servers, regardless of the original proprietary file format. The Glencoe DME import function captures all proprietary metadata to ensure data integrity. Multiple data acquisition systems can all talk to the same Glencoe DME.
