  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues alongside engineering and applications team members.
  • Write and improve scripts to automate operational tasks.
  • Work with customer IT teams to support deployments of Glencoe’s software products.
  • Learn how to monitor, maintain, and operate long-running production systems.

Essential Requirements

  • Solid Linux fundamentals and comfort working on the command line
  • Experience with at least one Linux distribution (Rocky Linux, RHEL, or Ubuntu)
  • Basic experience with a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Some scripting experience (Bash or Python)
  • Good problem-solving skills and a desire to understand why things work
  • Clear written communication and a customer-focused mindset

Desirable Skills (Pluses)

  • Git and version control
  • Exposure to Docker or containers
  • Interest in DevOps, SRE, or cloud architecture
  • Previous technical support or customer-facing experience

What You’ll Learn With Us:

  • Managing production cloud and on-premises Linux systems
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
