Glencoe’s Bio-Formats 8.4.0-865 includes everything in open source Bio-Formats 8.4.0 from the Open Microscopy Environment. Details of these changes are included in the Bio-Formats 8.4.0 release notes.
Other Highlights
- Added new API for mapping each image plane to its source file with Operetta data
- Improved calculation of Zeiss CZI phase, illumination, and rotation counts
- Adjusted Hamamatsu NDPIS reader macro/mask image names for consistency with NDPI reader behavior
- Fixed an issue affecting the opening of some Imaris HDF images with “#” in the filename.
- Added new lens objective IDs for RCPNL
- Added support for alternative date formats in MetaXpress
- Resolved a security vulnerability in XML parser
